A very Attractive Early 19th Century Oak Longcase clock by William Aris of Uppingham near Rutland.
The Oak case is in good condition the hood has a swan neck pediment and the dial is shown behind a glass door and flanked by wooded columns, The Dial is Painted with decorative designs to the corners and the maker name shown above the face. The dial has black painted hands, a supplementary second dial and a date of month display.
The 8 day movement is in good working order and having recently been serviced. The clock is complete with weights, pendulums, and winder.
